Keesha Sharp
The film of Tyler Perry Why Did I Get Married includes her. Perry, Janet Jackson and the independent film Frozen Peas are all starring with her. Other film credits for her comprise The 636 (for which she was awarded the title of Best Actress in the 2014 NYLA International Film Festival), Shattered! Never Die Alone, American Adobo, as well as American Adobo. Cum Laude awarded Keesha a B.F.A. Keesha decided to pursue a career in the theatre industry after graduating from Cum Laude with an Associate in Fine Arts. She played in her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted Off Broadway on stage in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. Also, she performed eight roles in the comedic Eat the Runt. Keesha was also in Abyssinia as well as Aida. She's read August Wilson's Come and Gone alongside him. Keesha is also the director of several shows of "Lethal Weapon", Are We There Yet? and the short films One Day, Lillian, and Half Off. Keesha is also the co-creator of Clean, The Brit & Broken Doll and has several new original projects currently in the works. Keesha is working on an album that is full of length to show off her voice after the acclaim of "Santa Baby".
